Maurice Langaskens (1884-1946)
Drafted into the Belgian army in 1914, he was captured by the Germans and spent the next 3 1/2 years as a prisoner of war. He produced numerous, mostly small-scale portraits of fellow prisoners + depictions of daily camp life
