Two of the joys of last 47 yrs was playing full set of #DoubleDrumming w/ 2 of the best in world at the exquisite art form: #BillKruetzmann of #GratefulDead (w/ #MaxCreek) & late, gr8t #ButchTrucks of #AllmanBrothersBand (w/ band fmrly known as #Slipknot). Felt so natural🙏🥁

Today is a special day. I was 16 the first time I saw #MaxCreek live. The show changed my life. Seriously. I would have never guessed in a million years that I’d be seeing the band all these years later in Denver with my teenage daughter—on my birthday, no less. Life is wild, my friends!
