DAY 3: Final Day

The final day was largely a Gamers Flea Market, with tons of vendors and players trading and selling their wares...

But I'm not here today for the market. I'm here for one final game with my friends!

#Mayhemcon2025 Day 2 Complete:

Thoughts:
- incredibly welcoming community
- lots of indie games and fun historical games, with a focus on enjoyable narrative play!
- Not overwhelmingly huge, do great for folks new to the wargame convention scene, or just wanting a less busy gaming scene!

I put 25 hours of manpower into painting my #SaurianStarhost army for pickup games at #Mayhemcon2025, and despite my efforts i didn't quite finish them all...

But I'm very glad I did.

Even if you fail, challenging yourself can be it's own reward!

The model is a hulking faceless elk creature made of moss and flesh with a faceless mask and massive antlers, stalking through an overgrown table of broken stone and twisting trees. The developers started creating the game as a hobby project during Covid, and they seem like cool folks taking their shot at turning a passion project into something bigger. They sell STLs of their miniatures, which are gorgeous and would fit in so many great games! And the game itself was fun and swift, reminiscent of MkII WARMACHINE & FROSTGRAVE, and genuinely easy to pick up.
