The #magicthegathering #secretlair group are fans of #romantasy. They have curated several "drops" that have romantic fantasy art. At #mcatlanta they were asked about this, and then by myself, about more bookish inspired drops.

The other bad decision was in choosing when to release it.
It’s a standard legal product that STOMPED on EoE’s presence at #MCAtlanta. It was immediately panned for its design and playability, which means they skimped on beta-test and/or disregarded feedback.

My favorite story at #MCAtlanta was meeting Vess, who came to my Meet & Greet. She told me about her 7yo niece and when Vess was teaching her @magic.wizards.com , her niece said “but it’s a boys’ game” and then Vess showed her some pictures/videos of me to show otherwise.
