#Media180LabSpring1030 Do the Right Thing ultimately left me pensive. It was a bit of a rough watch, especially the Fight tbe Power scene - Spike Lee’s usage of camera angles exacerbated the tension and made it feel thick, almost enough to choke on it. You could feel it in the back of your throat.

I felt a deep, reflective sadness watching a slow, sweaty build to a riot that felt personal--not senseless. Mookie's act was a spark in a world already burning. The close-ups, heat, and "fight the power" made it intimate and visceral. Who's right when everything's wrong? #Media180LabSpring1030

Do the right thing is a very emotionally ridden movie. The scene of Radio Raheem being killed during arrest was very upsetting. Through the use of long takes and close ups, director Lee was able to build tension and truly showcase the raw emotion of each character.

DoTheRightThing made me feel frustrated throughout the entire movie. The shots I liked the most were the angles from which they made the characters talk, from down to up, making the character look powerful, and the decision to make it tilted on purpose. #Media180LabSpring1030

The movie “Do the Right Thing”made me feel anger and frustrated, when Ratio get killed by the police because it showed how racist and injustice still affect people everyday. The low angles and Dutch angles to show power struggles and instability make the scenes feel off balance. #Media180LabSpring1030

I felt sad after Radio Raheem is killed by cops. The silence after his death made it raw. Spike Lee used close-ups to show fear and long shots to make the moment heavy. Lighting was harsh, and the music, “Fight the Power,” built tension. It came together to make scene sad #Media180LabSpring1030

Do the Right Thing made me feel upset and frustrated. It felt really tense because of the closeups, loud music and vibrant fiery colors. The ending seemed intense and really emotional because everything had been building up so much and there had been so many racial injustices #Media180LabSpring1030

Do the Right Thing" by Spike Lee is a movie that is filled with Sadness and Frustration and also uplifting. This Film does this expertly with the use of the Dutch Angle in many high tension scenes and uses the song "Fight The Power" by Public Enemy to great effect imo.

Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing” use of the Dutch angle evokes a sense of instability and danger with its crooked angle while also reminding the audience this is a movie. This angle made the confrontational scenes even more tense for me as they expressed their anger. #media180labspring1030

I felt frustrated. The close-up on Raheem’s shoes while he was being choked by the police showed he was in pain and couldn’t breathe. The flashing lights and the way the camera moved made everything feel out of control. The whole block felt like it was ready to explode.

Do the right Thing made me feel both anger and sadness. Spike Lee used potent music to show how characters felt like “flight the power”, also the lighting made everything look hot and tense. These things worked together to make me feel the emotions and think about unfairness.

After I watched "Do the Right Thing," I felt a mix of anger and frustration. The director's choice to take close up shots of the actors, like during heated arguments, it made the scene feel more realistic, in a way where it allowed the viewers to see the actor's true emotions. #Media180LabSpring1030

When I watched Do The Right Thing I was frustrated and angry. The hate speech in this movie is usually supported by dutch angle, which represents how hate creates imbalance in the community. At this moments characters often braking 4th wall, making viewer feel discomfort.
