Fox News Covers Murder by Illegal Alien in Chicago Allowed in by Biden Over the past week, Fox News has given daily updates on the case of an 18-year-old woman, Sheridan Gorman, who was murdered on March 19 in Chicago by an illegal alien who was allowed to enter the U.S. under the Joe Biden administration. Furthermore, while MS NOW and CNN have ignored the story, Fox also reported that, in spite of being arrested in Chicago for shoplifting, he was never turned over to ICE for deportation or even arrested when he failed to show up in court. Fox has been covering the case since the killing first happened on Thursday, March 19, and, on Sunday, first informed viewers that the alleged perpetrator is an illegal alien, Jose Medina-Medina, who is from Venezuela. For example, on Monday's Fox & Friends, reporter Todd Piro related: Police arresting 25-year-old Venezuelan national Jose Medina-Medina in connection to the shooting of 18-year-old college student Sheridan Gorman. Now the Venezuelan migrant has been officially charged with first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, and multiple counts of felony aggravated assault. Now, the Department of Homeland Security saying Medina-Medina had been arrested twice before in 2023, but was released back into the United States under former President Joe Biden. Later on The Story, Fox host Martha MacCallum recounted: Venezuelan migrant Jose Medina, the Department of Homeland Security says in May of 2023 he was apprehended by the Border Patrol and released into the United States. Shortly after that, he was arrested for shoplifting in Chicago, but he still got to stay in the country, and he was released on bond -- and then, surprise, surprise, he never showed up for his court appearance. She then noted that the murder happened in the same area where Governor JB Pritzker (D-IL) went for a walk in September and made a big deal about claiming that it was safe even though he was walking in the early morning rather than at night. Here's MacCallum: "...and it is the same lake front that Illinois Governor JB Pritzker touted as very safe and said everyone's making too big of a deal out of crime in Chicago back in September." Later in the day, Fox host Laura Ingraham also played clips of Governor Pritzker claiming the area was safe. On Tuesday's The Faulkner Focus, reporter Garrett Tenney informed viewers that facial recognition technology had helped crack the case as he recalled the poor timing by some Democrats in the legislature of trying to bar the use of such technology in spite of its usefulness. And by Thursday, Fox was reporting that Governor Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson finally commented on the case, leading to Gorman's family issuing a statement criticizing the lame reactions by the two Democrats. On America's Newsroom, co-host Dana Perino related: And this story, the family of Sheridan Gorman -- the college student who was allegedly killed by an illegal immigrant -- issuing a new statement. They're taking aim at Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson over their responses to Sheridan's murder. After noting that neither Democrat had contacted the Gorman family, reporter Garrett Tenney recalled: Now, the Gorman family is responding, saying this about Governor Pritzker: "We appreciate that he has now, five days after our daughter Sheridan's murder, that he has finally spoken publicly about Sheridan. But Sheridan's death cannot be reduced to a general 'tragedy,' nor can it be explained away by broad references to failures somewhere else. Sheridan was a daughter, a sister, and a young woman whose life was taken in a way that should never have been possible. This was not abstract. It was preventable." Tenney went on to read the family's statement directed at Mayor Johnson, and noted that the Democratic mayor this week went ahead with plans to introduce a new snow plow provocatively named with an anti-ICE slogan -- "ABOLISH ICE" -- which was the winner of a local contest.   Transcripts follow: Fox's Special Report with Bret Baier March 19, 2026 6:11 p.m. Eastern JOHN ROBERTS: Fox 32 in Chicago as a Loyola University student is fatally shot early this morning. Police say the woman was walking with friends when a masked suspect started shooting in their direction. Police have not announced any arrests. (...) Fox & Friends March 23, 2026 6:16 a.m. Eastern AINSLEY EARHARDT: An illegal Venezuelan migrant is due in court this morning facing charges for the murder of this Loyola University student. BRIAN KILMEADE: So Todd Piro has more details. Todd? TODD PIRO: Good morning to all three of you. Police arresting 25-year-old Venezuelan national Jose Medina-Medina in connection to the shooting of 18-year-old college student Sheridan Gorman. The family of Gorman saying in a statement, quote: "We are gravely disappointed by the policies and failures that allowed this individual to remain in a position to commit this crime. When systems fail -- whether through release decisions, lack of coordination or unwillingness to act, the consequences are not abstract. They are real. And in our case, they are permanent." (...) The Story with Martha MacCallum March 23, 2026 3:52 p.m. Eastern MARTHA MacCALLUM: Venezuelan migrant Jose Medina, the Department of Homeland Security says in May of 2023 he was apprehended by the Border Patrol and released into the United States. Shortly after that, he was arrested for shoplifting in Chicago, but he still got to stay in the country, and he was released on bond -- and then, surprise, surprise, he never showed up for his court appearance. This is an old and very tragic story when it comes to this young woman and her grieving family. This is Sheridan Gorman -- 18 years. She was a freshman at Loyola in Chicago starting her whole life -- her college career out for a walk with friends by the lake -- and it is the same lake front that Illinois Governor JB Pritzker touted as very safe and said everyone's making too big of a deal out of crime in Chicago back in September. GOVERNOR JB PRITZKER (D-IL), dated September 24: Here on the South Side, early morning, lots of runners coming by on the Lakefront path -- Lakefront Trail, absolutely gorgeous... (...) The Ingraham Angle March 23, 2026 PRITZGER: Here I am on the path of the lakefront at 6 a.m. on a Monday, and we got a lot of people running, having a great time. Doesn't feel like a hell hole here. LAURA INGRAHAM: Well, tell that to the family of 18-year-old Sheridan Gorman... (...) The Faulkner Focus March 24, 2026 11:03 a.m. GARRETT TENNEY: This man has been on police's radar now for years. Jose Medina had a judge issue an arrest warrant for -- more than two and a half years ago after he stole $132 worth of merchandise from a Macy's store in downtown Chicago. He got released on bail and then never showed up to court again. At the time, he was living in one of the city's migrant shelters, receiving housing, clothes, food and medical care all on the taxpayers' dime. (...) TENNEY: Police were able to use surveillance video to track 25-year-old -- this 25-year-old Venezuelan from this pier where he allegedly killed Sheridan Gorman just a few blocks away to his apartment. And from there, they were able to use facial recognition software to positively identify the Venezuelan national. Despite that, today, the Illinois lawmaker representing the same area is pushing a bill to ban the use of that kind of facial recognition software by police. Democratic Chicago alderman Raymond Lopez says bills like this send a clear message to criminals that they can get away with anything, including murder. RAYMOND LOPEZ, CHICAGO ALDERMAN: What the hell is wrong with these people when this happens? How can you with a straight face look your constituents in the eye and say, "This is the perfect time for me to outlaw the use of cameras and biometric technology even though I know it helped solve this murder?" (...) America's Newsroom March 26, 2026 9:06 a.m. DANA PERINO: And this story, the family of Sheridan Gorman -- the college student who was allegedly killed by an illegal immigrant -- issuing a new statement. They're taking aim at Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson over their responses to Sheridan's murder. So Garrett Tenney has the latest from Chicago. Hi, Garrett. GARRETT TENNEY: Yeah, Dana, good morning to you. Sheridan Gorman was killed one week ago today, and still neither Mayor Brandon Johnson nor Governor JB Pritzker have reached out to her family. It took them both days to even acknowledge her death allegedly at the hands of an illegal immigrant. And when they finally did, both men tried to shift the blame from their own sanctuary policies to President Trump. Now, the Gorman family is responding, saying this about Governor Pritzker: "We appreciate that he has now, five days after our daughter Sheridan's murder, that he has finally spoken publicly about Sheridan. But Sheridan's death cannot be reduced to a general 'tragedy,' nor can it be explained away by broad references to failures somewhere else. Sheridan was a daughter, a sister, and a young woman whose life was taken in a way that should never have been possible. This was not abstract. It was preventable." The family also had some strong words for Mayor Johnson who's facing a lot of criticism, including from some folks in the crowd yesterday for unveiling the city's new snow plow named "ABOLISH ICE" less than a week after Sheridan's murder. MAYOR BRANDON JOHNSON (D-CHICAGO): I want to take this moment to reiterate that Chicago does not want ICE on our streets, in our airports, nor in our city. Chicago believes in abolishing ICE.

WashPost Hypes Newsom-Endorsing Nick Fuentes as the Ruin of the Republicans The Washington Post is a Democrat rag. On Thursday’s front page, the below-the-fold headline on the left was “Democrats continue to reel in victories in special elections.” The subscribers surely loved it.  In the same spot on Friday was “Young conservatives’ bigotry has GOP on edge: Radicalization of youth on the right has set off bitter debate in the party.” Democrats love a “bitter debate” on the other side. The online headline was similar, but the subheadline was more specific: “Many Republicans dismiss such party members even as white supremacists like Nick Fuentes gain popularity, but there’s growing unease at their presence in the rank and file.” Let’s not deny the Republicans have a problem with antisemites in their ranks. Reporter Hannah Knowles quotes Sen. Ted Cruz: that he has seen more prejudice against Jewish people “in the last 18 months on the right than at any point in my lifetime,” and that “it is gaining real purchase, especially with young people.” But surely Knowles and the Post is not unaware that "groyper" Nick Fuentes has been out there raging against Trump. On March 16: “He needs to go. Like, I really believe that he needs to be impeached under the Democrats. And I don't even want him to be removed from office because I don't want Vance to become president either. I want Vance to burn down with all of it.” On December 28, 2025, Fuentes posted on social media that he’d vote for Gavin Newsom over “fat subhuman” Vance for president in 2028 “100x over just because he’s handsome.” Why is this nowhere in the story? Because the Post is a Democrat rag. There was a brief spot in the Knowles story for an official White House rebuttal of their partisan thesis: Davis Ingle, a spokesman for the White House, said Trump “has zero tolerance for anti-Semitism” and accused Democrats in Congress of “being taken over by anti-Semitic and anti-American radicals.” He pointed to Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Michigan), who have drawn rebukes from Republicans as well as some Democrats. The lawmakers’ offices did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The Post has covered Omar sympathetically as the victim of barbs from "creepy" Trump. She's not ruining the Democrats. Knowles based her story on a Turning Point USA conference, and had to admit: An official straw poll of attendees at the conference found that 87 percent of respondents viewed Israel as an ally, drawing a stark contrast with Fuentes, who rails against Israel. But the tension over their rise was front-and-center, in the sniping between speakers and the questions coming from the audience. This isn’t the first time the Post has been excited about the potential of Fuentes wrecking the GOP. Here’s the headline from last November 8: “Far-right provocateur Nick Fuentes is triggering a MAGA civil war.” At least that came before Fuentes endorsed handsome Gavin Newsom and Democrats impeaching Trump and removing him from office.

Anti-Science NPR Tries to Muddy Waters on Olympics: 'Will Ban Transgender Athletes' NPR reporter Rachel Treisman relied on politicized "science" to muddy the waters on Thursday’s Morning Edition in a story headlined “The Olympic committee bans trans athletes from women's events, raising many questions.” She questioned the common-sense decision of the Olympics to not allow biological men to unfairly compete against women in the 2028 games, and announcing sex testing via the SRY gene, located on the Y chromosome, found only in biological males. Treisman got it wrong right off the bat, referring to biological men as “transgender athletes.” The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will ban transgender athletes from competing in women's events, based on the results of mandatory genetic screening. Transgender athletes are not “banned” from the Olympics -- they would just have to compete against those of their own sex. "At the Olympic Games, even the smallest margins can be the difference between victory and defeat," said IOC President Kirsty Coventry in a video statement. "So, it is absolutely clear that it would not be fair for biological males to compete in the female category." …. Nevertheless, controversy ballooned in Paris 2024 when right-wing politicians and commentators called into question the sexes of two female boxers who had been previously disqualified from boxing world championships after failing eligibility tests. One of them was cleared for competition after approval last week, while the other — who has repeatedly identified herself as a cisgender woman — is challenging the World Boxing testing requirement in court. While the accusations were not proven true, they sparked a global debate over gender eligibility and prompted the IOC to begin the review that led to this policy. The IOC says the new rule is based on scientific evidence and "protects fairness, safety and integrity in the female category." But experts say the testing raises a multitude of concerns. Treisman threw up a lot of unconvincing roadblocks as if hoping some would stick. There are questions about the reliability and cost of testing [for the male-coded SRY gene], as well as the interpretation and finality of its results. Critics of the policy say it invades the privacy of all women, and that it discriminates against intersex people whose reproductive or sexual anatomy do not fit binary definitions of male or female. And even though the IOC says its policy does not apply to "grassroots or recreational" sports programs, some experts told NPR they fear it could affect more than just Olympic hopefuls. Suddenly, when it muddies the waters on SRY, NPR can define a man: But there are plenty of intervening variables, Schultz cautions. A male lab tech could potentially contaminate the sample, she said, leading to a false positive. And just because a woman tests positive for the gene doesn't mean she benefits from the hormones it produces. …. And while the IOC says the SRY gene "represents highly accurate evidence that an athlete has experienced male sex development," there is a lack of consensus about that in the scientific community. The complaints got really lame, involving “privacy concerns” and petty expenses. Is $250 per athlete really going to be the deciding factor, giving all the other costs associated with traveling and preparing for international competition? The screening alone can cost $250, she says, adding a financial burden to athletes and federations — and it's not clear who will bear the cost, or whether that might vary by country or sport. Schultz worries that cash-strapped countries could decide to send fewer women to competitions, or potentially none at all. There was an instance of mean-spirited conservatives "seizing" on the trans issue, while the unlabeled “proponents” just wanted "inclusion." As if world-class athletic competition like The Olympics must be “inclusive” even to those who clearly don’t qualify as elite in their biological sex category. President Trump and other conservatives seized on the idea of transgender women and girls competing in sports that align with their gender identity, opposed to what they describe as an unfair competitive advantage and potential safety risk. But proponents want sports to be inclusive — and worry transgender athletes will be cut out of participating.

Peter Alexander Departs NBC; Heads to Liberal Swamp of MS NOW Peter Alexander, NBC's chief White House correspondent and co-anchor of the Saturday edition of Today, is leaving that network supposedly in order to spend more time with his family and children. Do you believe that? No? And neither does pretty much everybody else. In fact the New York Post's Page Six revealed what is likely the real reason in the Saturday headline of the story by Carlos Greer announcing Alexander's split from his network: "Peter Alexander is leaving NBC after years of being passed over for top anchor jobs: source." Peter Alexander is saying sayonara to NBC News after nearly 22 years — including 15 years on the White House beat and eight as co-anchor of “Saturday Today,” we hear. The reason he’s leaving is a familiar one for TV anchors: The rigorous grind of 6-7 day workweeks has left him longing to spend more time with his family and young children, according to our source. And while that may be true, we’re told Alexander was also sick of being overlooked for top jobs at the network’s more prestigious shows like “Today” and “Nightly News.” “He’d be the first to say he’s had ambitions for the top anchor jobs, and with all of those spots recently filled, he’s going to try something new,” the source said. As for spending more time with his family, that excuse was completely blown by the not very surprising revelation of his new gig: Alexander’s last day will be on Saturday. We hear he’s going to settle for an 11 a.m. weekday anchor gig at MS Now, formerly MSNBC, the network NBC separated from after restructuring in 2025. MS NOW. Nowadays leftist network journalists who unconvincingly try pretending to be merely objective reporters often leave that pretense behind and reveal themselves fully to be the partisan hacks they really are on either MS NOW or as podcasters. When Alexander's full leftist bias is revealed on MS NOW it will come as absolutely no surprise to anyone who is at all familiar with him. One example of his obvious bias happened at the first press conference of President Trump's second term when Alexander seemed to not consider ILLEGALLY crossing the border as a crime worthy of deportation and that anyone doing so has a free pass to remain in the USA as long as they don't commit a violent crime:   NBC’s @PeterAlexander: “Karoline, very quickly just following up on the question on immigration first. President Trump, during the course of the campaign in 2024, said the following about illegal immigration. He said “they're going back home where they belong, and we start with… pic.twitter.com/TSN6MuOb3U — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) January 28, 2025 In sharp contrast to the way Peter Alexander interrogated Trump administration officials or other conservative sources, are the softball interviews he conducts with Democrats and liberals such as this series of soft pitches to Kamala Harris during the 2024 election campaign:   Peter Alexander was so obviously partisan as to even defend the lawfare against President Trump when Joe Biden was in the White House: “Let me also explain this one.” @RepDonaldsPress to @MeetThePress host @PeterAlexander who asserted: “To be clear, Joe Biden, there is no evidence he had anything to do with this case...Why is it appropriate for Donald Trump to call for prosecuting his political opponents?” #MTP pic.twitter.com/fa7TfYM57m — Brent Baker 🇺🇲🇺🇦 🇮🇱 (@BrentHBaker) June 16, 2024 And since Peter Alexander won't even need to pretend to be objective at MSNOW, we will soon be presented with his inner leftist sans filters.

Velshi And Walsh: Trump Is a King, Fascist, And a Tyrant MS NOW host Ali Velshi and former GOP congressman-turned MS NOW darling Joe Walsh joined forces on the former’s Saturday show to hype the day’s No Kings protests. According to both, President Trump is a king, a fascist, and a tyrant. Velshi began by framing the day’s events not as Trump versus anti-Trump or left versus right but as small-D democrats versus everyone else, “This is not about whether you're a Republican or a Democrat or where you stand on a myriad of important issues. And there are many. This is about are you on the side of democracy and keeping this republic.”   Ali Velshi portrays the No Kings protests as non-partisans versus Trump "This is not about whether you're a Republican or a Democrat or where you stand on a myriad of important issues. And there are many. This is about are you on the side of democracy and and keeping this… pic.twitter.com/auBY9khDzP — Alex Christy (@alexchristy17) March 28, 2026   Walsh, who was wearing a “F*ck Trump” shirt, agreed, “Oh, Ali, spot on. This is about are we American or not? I was listening to Ezra and I loved what he said. I'm down here in D.C. outside Arlington Cemetery. We took the Metro down and I can't tell you hundreds and hundreds of people, all of us on the Metro, all ages, all colors, all sizes. And Ali, everybody was smiling. Everybody was high-fiving.” He then echoed Velshi’s monologue earlier in the show where the host referred to Trump as a “tyrant,” claiming, “There is a joy out here in, like, publicly identifying, 'I'm an American. I effing love this democracy.' And Ali, it's like the sense of urgency. You said it at the top. It's here. Trump is a king. He is a fascist. He is a tyrant.” Velshi’s examples of tyranny were quite underwhelming. One example was claiming Trump tried to get ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel pulled off the air. As is tradition for the media, there was no reference to what Kimmel actually said. A second example was the Iran War, which Velshi said was unpopular, but if being unpopular is proof of tyranny, then every politician in America today is a tyrant. Velshi also lamented Trump may do something similar with Cuba while also falsely claiming Trump used ICE to turn cities into police states. As it was, Walsh continued giving MS NOW’s audience what they like to hear, “Ali, I come from the Tea Party movement. The Tea Party movement abandoned all of those beliefs. And we don't want a tyrant in the White House. But my god, it's here now. And I think that sense of urgency. There actually is the very thing our founding fathers feared is in the White House. And every day we're bombarded with it. Happy warriors, Ali, who all over the country today feel like this country, we've got to save it right now.” If Velshi and Walsh want people to seriously believe that the main political divide in America today is between those who believe in democracy and those who don’t, they should not claim democracy is whatever Velshi’s preferred immigration and foreign policies are. Here is a transcript for the March 28 show: MS NOW Velshi 3/28/2026 10:13 AM ET ALI VELSHI: This is not about whether you're a Republican or a Democrat or where you stand on a myriad of important issues. And there are many. This is about are you on the side of democracy and keeping this republic. JOE WALSH: Oh, Ali, spot on. Everybody was high-fiving. Jimmy Kimmel's Elitist Media Freudian Slip: Plumbers Aren't Smart You gotta love it. There’s nothing like watching a liberal icon in the media make an unconscious slip of the tongue that reveals what they really think but are afraid to say.  Such was the case this last week as lefty late-night icon Jimmy Kimmel took to America’s TV screens to say this of Trump-appointed Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin. Said Kimmel:  “Before he was elected to the Senate, Markwayne Mullin was a low-level MMA fighter and a plumber,” Kimmel smirked. He plunged on: “That’s right, we have a plumber protecting us from terrorism now. Well, it worked for Super Mario, why not Markwayne.” And in a blink there it was laid bare. Not too deep in his unconscious, the wealthy left-wing TV star has contempt for America’s working class -- plumbers in this case. What will happen the next time the Kimmels need to call a plumber? Texas Senator Ted Cruz took to X to take note, saying: “I prefer plumbers to woke & unfunny comedians.”  Georgia’s Representative Mike Collins replied:  The elites too often look down their noses at blue collar, middle America. They try to demean a man by calling him a plumber. As if plumbing is something to be ashamed of or is somehow a lesser profession than a court jester turning tricks on late night commentary (comedy is… https://t.co/YXI61kjTEr — Rep. Mike Collins (@RepMikeCollins) March 25, 2026 Chris Cillizza, formerly of CNN and now an independent journalist, scoffed: “Not a great look.” While Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis took to social media to lament "The disdain for which the Democrats and Hollywood elites have for working class Americans - and folks who step up to do important jobs for their country - is shameful. These people need help." Taken collectively, not to mention as a stand-alone, Kimmel’s caustic and decidedly elitist look down his nose at Mullin because the latter has a background as a plumber speaks volumes about the real mindset of today’s left-wing media types.  And in fact? Mullin is recorded as not just having started his plumbing business with six employees. He went on to grow the business considerably, growing it to the point where it now has over 100 employees. That’s in addition to building several other businesses and ranching operations in two different Oklahoma counties. In short, Mullin is a highly successful businessman. Once upon a time, President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Democrats he led presented themselves as the party of the working man. Or as FDR called them, “the forgotten man.” FDR also called out the GOP’s then-President Herbert Hoover as the representative of a political party “which can think in terms only of the top of the social and economic structure.” In today’s world, the parties have flipped. The GOP is the working man's party, the Democrats the home of wealthy liberal elites. Jimmy Kimmel personifies today’s lefties, notably those in the media, who decidedly “can think in terms only of the top of the social and economic structure.” Which is what results in Kimmel’s media elitist snobbery that looks down his Hollywood nose at plumbers like Secretary Mullin once was. And to say the least, with the considerably serious business success of Mullin? With Kimmel having stepped in it revealing his true contempt for working Americans?  You can’t make it up.

Fonda Suggests Second Trump Term Is Worse Than Jim Crow Actress Jane Fonda stopped by Friday’s edition of The Briefing with Jen Psaki on MS NOW in an attempt to hype Saturday’s No Kings protests. Naturally, Fonda would paint a dire picture of the state of democracy in America, but her evidence consisted of defeats for liberal budget priorities and false narratives about the erasing of history. Nevertheless, Fonda would also suggest that the state of democracy is so perilous that things are currently worse than they were in the Jim Crow days because now everybody is affected. Psaki led Fonda by misusing the word “all” when she invited her to promote the cause, “I watched your event today. We all watched your event today. And I should note for the audience, you were in Washington, D.C. today speaking outside the Kennedy Center for an event—that's what I'm referring to—in defense of free expression. So tell us about the event and the message you were really trying to get across to people watching.”   Jane Fonda appeared with Jen Psaki last night to say it isn't democracy if Democrats don't get their budget priorities "Well, the attacks on the arts, on literature, on film, on museums, the National Endowment of the Arts, all of these are under attack right now. They're being… pic.twitter.com/k0aJxB5CLK — Alex Christy (@alexchristy17) March 28, 2026   Fonda replied by freaking out over “the attacks on the arts, on literature, on film, on museums, the National Endowment of the Arts, all of these are under attack right now. They're being defunded. They're being censored. They're being removed.” Before anyone could object that defunding the NEA is not an attack on the idea of art, Fonda continued, “History, especially racial history. The history of slavery is all being erased now…We worried that people and the press don't see clearly enough the breadth and depth of these attacks.” Not only is Fonda simply incorrect about history being erased, the media has not stopped its efforts to parrot her narrative. Nevertheless, she continued freaking out, “And we have to understand what's happening. This is not normal. This does not happen in a democracy. And we have to call it what it is and we have to end it. We're the Committee for the First Amendment. It's the First Amendment for a reason. It's the most important. It's the cornerstone of all democracies. It's freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, and freedom to protest, including the right to criticize our president if we choose. All of this is under attack.” Later, Psaki continued to exalt her guest and her supposed wisdom and expertise, “But just to remind people, during the anti-war and Civil Rights Movements, which were both, of course, very violent, incredibly tumultuous times in our nation's history. This is the first time in the… pic.twitter.com/kd0Zt2sWAF — Alex Christy (@alexchristy17) March 28, 2026   Bizarrely, Fonda seemed to know what she was about to say sounded insane, but she said it anyway, “Well, I'm speaking from the vantage point of a white person. I think black people in this country have experienced authoritarianism. I mean, Jim Crow, there were no rights for people who were black. This is the first time in the history of the United States that an authoritarian regime has broken through. And worldwide, historians who study these things, they all agree it has never happened so fast in any industrialized democracy. He is moving to consolidate very, very fast, which means that right now we have to use the tools we have to stop it.” Like Psaki, Fonda also abused the word “all.” If these self-styled experts on authoritarianism really think that Trump is moving faster than any dictator in history while Fonda promotes her protest movement on national television, then people are right to be skeptical of them. Here is a transcript for the March 27 show: MS NOW The Briefing with Jen Psaki 3/27/2026 9:48 PM ET JEN PSAKI: I watched your event today. We all watched your event today. And I should note for the audience, you were in Washington, D.C. today speaking outside the Kennedy Center for an event—that's what I'm referring to—in defense of free expression. So tell us about the event and the message you were really trying to get across to people watching. JANE FONDA: Well, the attacks on the arts, on literature, on film, on museums, the National Endowment of the Arts, all of these are under attack right now. They're being defunded. They're being censored. They're being removed. History, especially racial history. The history of slavery is all being erased now. And we wanted—because it's kind of like here—siloed. We worried that people and the press don't see clearly enough the breadth and depth of these attacks. And we have to understand what's happening. All of this is under attack. … PSAKI: But just to remind people, during the anti-war and Civil Rights Movements, which were both, of course, very violent, incredibly tumultuous times in our nation's history. But last year, you described the second Trump administration as the most frightening time of your life. Just level set for people. What sets it apart from what you've seen over your lifetime of activism? FONDA: Well, I'm speaking from the vantage point of a white person. ABC Ignores Ethics Committee Finding Dem. Congresswoman Guilty The Friday evening newscasts of ABC’s World News Tonight, NBC Nightly News, and CBS Evening News continued their streak of ignoring Democratic Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick’s ethics probe as the House Ethics Committee found her guilty of 25 ethics charges. However, the Saturday editions of NBC’s Today and CBS Saturday Morning did manage to ever so briefly acknowledge the scandal’s existence. The same could not be said of ABC’s Good Morning America. CBS’s coverage was limited to the “Eye Opener” segment at the beginning of the show, where reporters rattle off several headlines without further discussion. In this case, one narrator reported, “A Democratic House lawmaker is in hot water, facing expulsion from Congress.”   Albeit very briefly, NBC's "Today" and "CBS Saturday Morning" managed to report on Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick being found guilty by the House Ethics Committee and identify her as a Democrat. ABC, not so much. pic.twitter.com/bLRfTisrRv — Alex Christy (@alexchristy17) March 28, 2026   Another added, “The House Ethics Committee charged Florida Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick with 25 counts of misconduct” before the original voice added that Cherfilus-McCormick, “Also faces criminal charges for misusing millions of dollars.” Meanwhile, over at Today, during a similar rapid-fire headline reading, co-host Peter Alexander declared, “This headline from Capitol Hill Friday where a special House Ethics Subcommittee found a Florida representative guilty of 25 ethics charges. Democrat Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick is accused of stealing millions in relief funds and funneling some of it to her campaign. The decision sets the stage for her likely ouster from Congress. Cherfilus-McCormick has denied any wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty to criminal charges.” While both NBC and CBS managed to identify Cherfilus-McCormick’s party—something that is never guaranteed when the corrupt politician is a Democrat—they still barely covered it. Yet, that was still better than ABC’s total omission. It takes a two-thirds vote to expel someone from the House, and if the networks want to redeem themselves on this scandal, they should have more in-depth reports, including of their congressional correspondents pestering Democrats if they plan to vote to expel her the same way Republicans expelled George Santos. Here are transcripts for the March 28 shows: NBC Today 3/28/2026 8:31 AM ET PETER ALEXANDER: This headline from Capitol Hill Friday where a special House Ethics Subcommittee found a Florida representative guilty of 25 ethics charges. Can you imagine the outrage from our biased media & press & the #FarRight loons, if these vile bastards weren't white??

Propaganda is right, they're not reporting on this as it doesn't fit their narrative.

The reason the #BBC gave (& continues to give) #Farage copius amounts of airtime, is because they are biased. Pure & simple.

They've spent so long now, giving #Reform priority & not challenging their lies & extreme policies, I can no longer trust them.

I hope this rally against the #FarRight is a huge success, but I have a feeling most of our media will either ignore it or seriously downplay it. 🙄

I hope I'm proven wrong!

This further proves what I keep on saying - our press & media are hugely powerful & they shape & control the narrative of the news.

And sadly, millions of people believe their lies.

We need laws that would stop the blatent #MediaBias. All we want is honesty & the facts.

Jim Acosta: If I Had a Magic Wand, 'I Would Send Billions of Dollars to Public Broadcasting' PBS News Hour co-host Geoff Bennett turned up on The Jim Acosta Show to promote his new book on black comedy titled Black Out Loud. Bennett and Acosta were both White House reporters in Trump's first term. After talking all about The Cosby Show and In Living Color, Acosta felt compelled to gush over PBS to a rather overenthusiastic degree.  After Acosta discussed his amazing experience as a subject on the PBS genealogy show Finding Your Roots, he praised the entire enterprise:  Jim @Acosta gushes to PBS host Geoff Bennett: "There's so many quality programs on PBS. I tell people all the time, if I could wave a magic wand, I would send BILLIONS of dollars to public broadcasting." That tells you who PBS pleases, and who PBS serves. pic.twitter.com/35hUb6aaE5 — Tim Graham (@TimJGraham) March 27, 2026 ACOSTA: And there's so many -- Frontline -- there's so many quality programs on PBS. I tell people all the time, if I could wave a magic wand, I would send billions of dollars to public broadcasting. BENNETT: [laughs]: Yeah. And I gotta say, it's really heartening to see the ways in which our viewers have stepped up post defunding. And the philanthropy is terrific, but really, it's the individual viewers who are standing in the gap and, deeply appreciate it. Shortly before this financial fantasy, Acosta cued up the first tribute, that PBS is how you can "fix the news." Oh, the fix the news, all right:  Jim @Acosta tells PBS's Geoff Bennett that when people ask how to "fix the news," he promotes PBS. Oh, they "fix the news" all right. The rig it just the way that the Left wants it. Bennett brags they draw 2 million viewers a night, more than cable news. Fox News laughs. pic.twitter.com/3dp6HdyuIg — Tim Graham (@TimJGraham) March 27, 2026 ACOSTA: I have to put you on the spot a little bit because I have to ask you, you're the anchor of the PBS News Hour, and I'm going to embarrass you a little bit and say what a huge fan I am of the program BENNETT: Thank you. ACOSTA: You and Amna [Nawaz] just do terrific work, and I also want to promote the PBS News Hour. I go out and do these speaking engagements from time to time, and people ask me, how would you fix the news? How would you fix broadcasting? And I tell people all the time, in addition to independent media and the importance of independent media, I think public broadcasting is so important in this country, and it's not valued enough, and as a matter of fact, it's been defunded, and I don't want to drag you into all that. But your thoughts on why you're proud to be at the PBS News Hour and to be a part of public broadcast, because I wish it would be said much more often. So I'm going to put you on the spot and make you do it. BENNETT: First of all, thank you for the kind words about the broadcast. As you know, it is a team effort, and I view my role as being a steward of that institution. For more than 50 years, people have tuned or turned to the PBS News Hour for coverage they can trust, they know that we have a fidelity to the facts, and we are really intentional about the stories we cover, about the voices we elevate. Our editorial meeting, sometimes it's longer than the broadcast itself in the mornings. It's not always the most efficient way to get a broadcast on the air, but it really speaks to the level of intention and care we bring to the broadcast. And I would also say that the news hour sometimes people have this perception of it being this deeply respected but little watched program. We have two million viewers every night, which is four or five times what you have on cable in prime time, on most nights, and 30 million across our digital footprint. This is where the "fact checking" should kick in. If the News Hour drew exactly 2.0 million viewers every night, a look at the February cable-news ratings would show it would come behind 12 Fox News programs and Rachel Maddow's Monday show. Bennett's show might outshine CNN and most of MS NOW, but not typically by four or five times.

Notoriously Anti-Trump Judge Boasberg Sides with Administration in Immigration Case A judge described by President Donald Trump as “wacky, nasty, crooked, and totally out of control” has, for once, sided with the administration in a deportation case. On Wednesday, District of Columbia Chief Judge James Boasberg ruled that a liberal group’s lawsuit to vacate a 2025 U.S. agreement with El Salvador, under which the Central American country agrees to take back illegal aliens convicted of crimes in the U.S., lacked standing. “This Court is all too familiar with the Government’s hasty deportation of immigrants to El Salvador, though only through the lens of individual removals,” Boasberg, who is known for repeatedly ruling against Trump in high-profile cases, acknowledges in his Wednesday opinion. But, in this case, the issue isn’t so much about the removal of illegal aliens as it is about whether or not the U.S. can enter into agreements with other countries, Boasberg writes: “The present suit arrives from a different vantage point, training its sights not on those removals but on the diplomatic instrument that preceded and allegedly enabled them.” …. “Defendants ultimately prevail on the threshold question of standing. Even assuming the Agreement helped set in motion the events Plaintiffs describe, it does not itself carry independent legal force, and vacating it would not likely prevent the conduct that produces their injuries. The Court will therefore grant the Motion to Dismiss.” In August, a federal appeals court voted 2-1 Friday to throw out Judge Boasberg’s contempt finding against Trump regarding his court order that the Trump Administration turn airplanes around and return illegal aliens on their way to El Salvador back to the U.S. The Obama-appointed judge, one of a number of activist, rogue judges that House Republicans are working to impeach, had ruled that the Trump Administration did not have the authority to deport more than two hundred illegal alien gang members and ordered the planes carrying the gang members to turn around and bring them back to the U.S. Earlier this month, in a TruthSocial.com post, Pres. Trump called Boasberg a “wacky, nasty, crooked, and totally out of control” judge who shouldn’t be allowed to involved in any future cases regarding the president and his administration. "In case after case, Boasberg has displayed open, flagrant, and extreme partisan bias and contempt against Republicans and the Trump Administration," the president claimed, after Boasberg ruled that the administration's subpoenas of the Federal Reserve Board were meant to harass and pressure Fed Chair Jerome Powell.

The View’s ‘Republican’ Guest Co-Host Flops When Asked About Her Conservative Values With Alyssa Farah Griffin still out on maternity leave, Abby Huntsman was next in the parade of purportedly “conservative” and “Republican” guest co-hosts. On Thursday’s show, Huntsman was somehow tripped up by co-host Joy Behar who simply asked Huntsman to talk about one of her conservative values. Despite the value being dealer’s choice, Huntsman looked like a deer in the headlights and floundered around for a bit before simply settling for ‘smaller government.’ Amid yet another segment kvetching about President Trump, co-host Sunny Hostin asked Huntsman about how she saw herself fitting in the current party given she and her family were known for being moderate Republicans. “What do you see as your place in the Republican Party and what do you see the Republican Party going forward?” Hostin asked. Huntsman began to say that she grew up with conservative values and still held them close to her heart. But when Behar interrupted to demand she express one of her deeply held conservative values, Huntsman froze (pictured above) before going on about a “healthy” “two-party system” and how Republicans needed to ditch Trump: HUNTSMAN: That's a great question. I grew up with a lot of conservative values. Many that I still hold close to my heart. BEHAR: Give us one. [Laughter] HUNTSMAN: My conservative values? BEHAR: Yeah, give me one. HUNTSMAN: Well, I think it depends on what you view the government's role is. And I - I think our country's only as healthy as a two-party system. I want the Democratic Party to figure out how to beat Trump again. I want the Republican Party to figure out - “But why is that conservative?” Behar interrupted again. “I agree with that. I'm not a conservative and I agree with that.”   Abby Huntsman was brough in to guest co-host from the "conservative"/"Republican" seat. But when asked to share a conservative value she holds, Huntsman flounders and after a while just says she likes smaller government: HOSTIN: What do you see as the future of the Republican… pic.twitter.com/jYiYZJV2Lu — Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) March 26, 2026   Hostin threw Huntsman a lifeline by reminding her that conservatives liked smaller government; to which Behar suggested she was actually an independent like co-host Sara Haines. Huntsman admitted she held liberal values: HOSTIN: You believe in smaller government. HUNTSMAN: I believe in a smaller - But I was -- The point I'm trying to make I don't check every single box of whatever -- I don't even know what the party is today. I don't think the Trump party. BEHAR: Maybe you're an independent like Sara. HUNTSMAN: No. You know, I got a lot of conservative, I have a lot of libertarian values and there are probably things I'm more liberal on. Huntsman defended her liberal values by saying no one fits into a simple box and tried appealing to audience fore back up: I don't fit in it a box. I don't think all of us in this room fit perfectly in one box. That's what America is and that's what we need to stand up for. I don't want to be defined as something - because I do have thing that are more conservative values on certain -- Behar interrupted one more time, this time to make fun of Trump. “Before we go, can I just say Trump did win one award. A McDonald's frenchfry certification,” she jabbed. Oof, if Sunny Hostin of all people needed to remind Huntsman of her lines, The View was not sending us the best conservatives. David Bozell Exposes Apple News ‘Blockade’ and Media’s Iran ‘TDS’ on The Dana Show On Friday’s edition of The Dana Show, Media Research Center President David Bozell joined host Dana Loesch to pull back the curtain on the "Censorship Industrial Complex’s" latest efforts to gaslight the American public. From burying overwhelming support for the SAVE America Act to the universally negative coverage of military successes in Iran, Bozell warned that the legacy media has moved beyond simple bias into a total blockade of the truth. Loesch opened the segment by highlighting a massive disconnect in the national dialogue. While the media relentlessly frames the SAVE America Act as "Jim Crow 2.0," Bozell pointed to a recent investigation by the MRC NewsBusters team that caught CBS News red-handed. The network conducted a poll showing overwhelming support for the measure, yet their reporters conveniently forgot to mention the most explosive data buried in their own survey’s crosstabs. 80% of Black Americans, 77% of Hispanics have no problem with voter ID. The media totally fabricated this lie that "voter ID is racist."@DavidBozell @DLoesch @DanaLoeschRadio pic.twitter.com/slnyBV7Z7F — Media Research Center (@theMRC) March 27, 2026 "Craig Bannister, who works for us over at CNSNews, dug through their poll... and saw the crosstabs," Bozell explained. The numbers tell a different story: over 80 percent of Black Americans and 77 percent of Hispanics support valid photo ID to vote. "This remains an 80-percent issue despite months of Democrats throwing everything they could at this," Bozell told Loesch. By scrubbing these facts from their broadcasts, the elitist media is effectively gaslighting the very demographics they claim to protect. "That's an abject lie. That's a total inversion of the truth."@DavidBozell torches Apple News for showing its 125 million users Chuck Schumer standing in front of a sign that read, "Republicans have blocked funding for TSA 8 times." @DLoesch @DanaLoeschRadio pic.twitter.com/zUZEih4BdK — Media Research Center (@theMRC) March 27, 2026 The conversation shifted to how Apple is managing the narrative for 125 million Apple News users. Bozell recounted a chilling example of a "headline scroll" that featured Chuck Schumer blaming Republicans for TSA funding. This was an abject lie and a total inversion of the truth. "This is not just your typical run-of-the-mill liberal bias," Bozell warned. "This is a total blockage of the conservative viewpoint at the point of entry." The duo also tackled the media’s "Baghdad Bob" routine regarding the conflict in Iran. Bozell cited staggering MRC data: in the first week of the conflict, over 90 percent of jokes on late-night television were anti-American or anti-military. "The tenor and the tone of the coverage is anti-Trump—that he doesn’t know what he’s doing," Bozell said, noting the media’s refusal to recognize military success. "It’s infuriating." David Bozell on VINCE Podcast: IOC Finally Protects Women’s Sports, Media Twists the Truth In a major victory for fairness in women’s athletics, the International Olympic Committee announced a new policy on Thursday: eligibility for female Olympic events will now be limited to biological females, verified through mandatory gene screening. The era of men competing in women’s sports appears to be ending. On Friday’s edition of Vince, podcast host Vince Coglianese highlighted the absurdity of the mainstream media’s coverage. The Associated Press ran a headline that read: “Trans women athletes are banned from the Olympics by a new IOC policy on female eligibility.” As Coglianese pointed out, a casual reader could easily misinterpret that to mean actual women athletes were being barred from competing against women. David Bozell, President of the Media Research Center (MRC), called out the deliberate deception. “The deceit is part of the scam,” he said. “They’re trying to convince you to reject reality.”  Biological males can still compete — they simply must do so in the category matching their birth sex. Most outlets ran with the loaded word “banned,” while ESPN opted for the softer “excluded.” Bozell praised President Trump for leading the charge against men in women’s sports, noting, “All kudos and credit to the President on this one. No one carried this message further and wider than the President of the United States, and he deserves public credit for that.” Bozell also credited the conservative base and movement for amplifying the issue effectively, reaching millions in record time. .@DavidBozell and @VinceCoglianese celebrate the Olympics banning men from cheating in women's sports and applaud President Trump's work in fighting for women's rights pic.twitter.com/pqVoKlIQyn — Media Research Center (@theMRC) March 27, 2026 Coglianese reminded listeners how media manipulation can sway elections. He referenced MRC’s past research on the Hunter Biden laptop story, which found that if more voters had known the truth in 2020, the election outcome could have shifted dramatically in Trump’s favor. .@DavidBozell and @VinceCoglianese discuss the MRC poll that proved how the media's lack of coverage on Biden's scandals impacted the 2020 election results pic.twitter.com/W07FiIkeRY — Media Research Center (@theMRC) March 27, 2026 The IOC’s decision marks a long-overdue return to common sense and basic biology. Yet the media’s continued linguistic games show they’re still fighting to obscure reality rather than report it.

NBC Omits, ABC Barely Covers DISTURBING Turn in Bomb Found on Key U.S. Base On Thursday, law enforcement and the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida announced charges against a brother and sister in the placement of a bomb at MacDill Air Force base, a key U.S. base amid the war in Iran as it’s home to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and U.S. Special Operations Command. This national security bombshell was of no interest to NBC (and barely at all to ABC) on their flagship newscasts Thursday night and Friday morning. While 27-year-old Ann Mary Zheng was arrested, her brother Alen Zheng remains at large and fled to....China (which opens up a dangerous set of possibilities vis-à-vis the Chinese regime). At a Thursday press conference, the U.S. Attorney said they were not yet sure whether the two Americans have dual citizenship in China. Thursday’s CBS Evening News with Tony Dokoupil provided a welcome contrast with a full story on this and aired prior to the ongoing lead story of the last few weeks in the (Democrat-created) Homeland Security shutdown that has caused mass chaos at American airports with TSA workers remaining unpaid. “Also developing tonight, the FBI says it knows who placed a bomb outside MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa this month. The base key to U.S. operations in Iran and the indictments coming down late today. Two siblings charged, the sister arrested, her brother still on the run,” Dokoupil declared in an opening tease. Dokoupil later began the segment by calling the development “major news” in the “potentially deadly explosive device found outside MacDill Air Force Base,” which “[t]he FBI says it was placed there by a 20-year-old man who has since fled to China.” This segment on Thursday’s @CBSEveningNews with @TonyDokoupil was the only full report on a broadcast network morning or evening newscast about the indictment of two Chinese-Americans in the placement of a bomb at MacDill Air Force base, the home of CENTCOM pic.twitter.com/sOt1AwtOsa — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) March 27, 2026 Correspondent Cristian Benavides delivered even more stunning findings about the bomb and when it was found: BENAVIDES: Tony, what is so frightening here is that officials say it took six days for this explosive device to be discovered. They say that it was real. It could have killed a lot of people, but for some reason it did not detonate. According to federal authorities, Alen Zheng planted an explosive device on March 10th near MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. Minutes later, a 911 call reported a bomb had been placed on the base. U.S. ATTORNEY FOR THE MIDDLE DISTRICT OF FLORIDA GREGORY KEHOE: The MacDill personnel searched the base and I’m the entire base and did not find the device at that time. BENAVIDES: It was eventually discovered on March 16. By then, prosecutors say Zheng and his sister, Ann Mary Zheng had sold the black Mercedes used to transport the bomb to the base and fled to China. Benavides explained Ann Mary Zheng had, for some reason, returned to the U.S. and, with authorities already onto her, she was arrested upon her return and “charged with being an accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence.” In a second soundbite from U.S. Attorney Kehoe, he said an FBI search of their home “found” additional “IED components.” After reiterating to viewers that the Tampa-area base “houses Central Command, in charge of military operations in the Middle East, including the war with Iran,” Benavides said officials had not yet revealed a motive. “China does not have an extradition treaty with the U.S. although it does negotiate in some cases, prosecutors say they don’t have any evidence that Zheng was working with the Chinese government,” the CBS reporter concluded. Unfortunately, it likely wouldn’t come as a shock if, given the information already shared, some connection to Chinese intelligence or the CCP is discovered. In the case of the aforementioned ABC, all they could muster was a 23-second news brief on Friday’s Good Morning America from news reader Will Reeve: Friday’s ‘Good Morning America’ on ABC could only pull down 23 seconds on the MacDill bomb, speedily moving by the bombshell that the brother is still in China pic.twitter.com/9kEeDk4SVs — Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) March 27, 2026 We begin [New at 7:30] with a brother and a sister indicted for allegedly planting an explosive device at McDill Air Force base in Florida. The device was found on March 16 outside the base’s visitor’s center. It did not go off. The siblings escaped to China but the sister came back. She is under arrest. The brother is still in China and the motive behind the plot is unclear. Thursday’s NBC Nightly News focused heavily on the Savannah Guthrie interview, but they still found time for other stories, including a disturbed man driving onto a Daytona Beach tarmac and trying to forcibly board an airplane. To be fair, CBS’s Dokoupil also covered it, but he still found time for MacDill. In the case of both NBC’s Today and CBS Mornings on Friday, they remained hot on the trial of a Hawaii doctor who allegedly tried (and failed) to murder his wife while hiking. But like with the Daytona drunk, ABC’s Good Morning America found time to cover the Lifetime movie in-waiting and a bomb that could have wreaked havoc at one of the country’s most important military installations. TIME Finds an Ideal Anti-Trump Angle: ICE Detains Infirm Gay Iranians The liberal brains at Time magazine really had to think hard to come up with a way to make Iranians look good and the Republicans look bad. So the top story of their Time.com newsletter today was: "The Iranians Stuck Between ICE Detention and Deportation to War-Torn Homeland." Naturally, it's a gay couple stuck in Trump's cruel web. Reporter Philip Wang began:  When Ali and Adel showed up at the southern border in El Paso, Texas in 2025 after traveling thousands of miles from Iran, they believed that America was a place of freedom and opportunity. Instead, the Iranian gay couple found themselves in separate ICE detention facilities hundreds of miles apart, facing the threat of deportation back to Iran. TIME is using pseudonyms to protect their safety. They always love using pseudonyms for any Trump "victims" because it makes them sound like they're in great danger. Liberal outlets love to use this for pro-Hamas protesters and ICE-busting radicals, too.  The couple, one in his late 30s and the other in his early 40s, fled Iran for Turkey in 2021 after being arrested by Iran’s morality police who opened a criminal investigation into their relationship—same-sex activity is punishable by death in Iran. Soon after, fearing for their safety, they left Turkey for Mexico and eventually arrived in the U.S. The next obvious step in this publicity is to run all the defense lawyer's talking points:  Wolf said Adel’s condition is particularly alarming. He suffered severe organ damage after the couple was attacked in Mexico en route to the U.S., and has since lost a significant amount of weight and experienced fainting episodes while in detention. “He's incredibly frail, to the point where he could no longer ambulate. He couldn't walk because of the pain,” Wolf said. “He had to have other detainees pick him up and carry him to the bathroom and to the shower, which was incredibly distressing.” Then comes the data points of an anti-Trump project from professors at UCLA and UC-Berkeley:  Ali and Adel are among hundreds of Iranians facing an impossible choice: remaining in a U.S. immigration system increasingly defined by mass deportation, or returning to an authoritarian regime that represses its citizens. According to data from the Deportation Data Project, ICE arrested at least 432 Iranians in 2025, more than half of whom had neither been convicted of a crime nor were facing pending criminal charges at the time of their arrest. If either of these poor unfortunate souls had any criminal record, you wouldn't know, since they're kept pseudonymous.  The second item in this "news" letter also seemed more like a press release: "Here’s Which Cities Are Likely to Host the Biggest No Kings Protests." Chantelle Lee touted the Saturday protests against evil Trump: "This Saturday could be the largest day of domestic political protest in U.S. history, according to event organizers." Left-wing protests are often presented in the rosy view of "event organizers."
