👀Honestly a bit surprised that the coming together of 2 of Canada's big COVID-19 investments in domestic vaccine production, both of which were the subject of controversy, seems to have attracted essentially zero media coverage (tho it's true the #Medicago angle isn't apparent in the press release).

Kind of interesting that the Canadian government's announcement of $40 million in funding for Aramis/ #Medicago 2.0 is getting press en français (e.g., ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/212... & www.lesoleil.com/actualites/s...) but not much attention in English.

Interesting to see Canada investing $40 million in essentially Medicago 2.0, after making a big investment in #Medicago, then scrambling to keep the IP in Canada after foreign owner Mitsubishi Chemical Group shut it down.
