IMO it’s something #medicalXR apps should consider a lot more for their home-space / starting point. Quite a few patients are afraid of jumping straight into VR as they lose awareness/control of their surroundings.
Start with pass through and then transition to VR, leave an option to switch…

we spoke to #RTS about using #medicalXR for orthopaedic surgery simulations. We (very briefly) discussed the role of #VR in training medical students and how this allows them to learn procedures and fail safely. (ah, and all of this in French... I am still learning.)
