I have been sitting here for 15m trying to figure out what kind of embrasure could be both horizontal AND placed at the base of a foundation.Battlement embrasures are horizontal but don’t go on foundations, arrow hole embrasures can go at foundations but are vertical!!

A reply to a post that states “History is one of my favorite classes, no memorizing formulas but just paying attention during class.
