On #MediterraneanDay, we face a harsh reality: the Med is warming 20% faster than the global average, overfished, and polluted.
Existing laws can protect this vital ecosystem and those who depend on it - but only if the EU enforces them.
We’re making sure they do.🌊
The Mediterranean is one of the most overfished regions in the world, and this must change!
Today, on #MediterraneanDay and ahead of the AGRIFISH Council meeting in December, we urge 🇫🇷 🇮🇹 🇪🇸 to take decisive action to end overfishing in the Mediterranean.
