Chibi Mermku and Chibi Mermtsuki fast asleep, holding hands so they don't drift apart on the currents. Their caudal fins are also entwined, and the bubbles surrounding them form the shape of a heart ♥

Did you know that Merms hold hands while they sleep so they don't drift apart?
Well, they don't.
Unless they're Mermku and Mermtsuki! 🥰

Chibi Mermku is sitting on the jagged searocks above the Ocean. Chibi Mermtsuki has climbed up to him and is chewing on Mermku's cheek, in retaliation for something. Mermku is cutely stressed and flushed and whining, whereas Mermtsuki is angry like a demon. We can see the sea, the sky and huge fluffy clouds in the distance behind them, coloured in soft pastels.

Hands too busy gripping the rocks so he doesn't tumble down the cliff, Mermtsuki had to make do with using his mouth instead to teach Deku a lesson lol

Expectations: breaking majestically through the waves, a sleek perfect glide, light catching his scales in a glorious flash of fiery orange.

Reality: the waves were really violent that day (almost as though there were explosions?!) and he got tossed on the beach.

Chibi Mermtsuki is telling Chibi Mermku how his foray to the surface went. He's blushing visibly and thinking about Human Deku, as we can guess by the big image of him floating behind his head. The image in question is actually a crop up of a nice official art of Deku smiling and reaching out his hand. Mermtsuki is in a defensive pose: his arms are crossed and he's looking away, so disgruntled that it's adorable. There are bubbles around him, since they're underwater, but if you look closely some of them have the shape of little hearts, to further emphasise how besotted he is. On the other hand, Chibi Mermku is literally green with jealousy. There's a green aura around him, and green sparks dance around him, almost as if he's been able to summon OFA. Only one eye is visible, and it's huge and aglow with emotion. He looks ready to throw down the gauntlet and challenge the human who DARED pique the interest and affections of HIS Mermtsuki.

💥: So. You...MIGHT.. have been right about.. SOME...humans... being... not that horrible.
🥦: *interrupting him* Oh, that's so nic-
💥: Actually, I met someone.
🥦: ‼️
💥: And I promised I'll go meet him again.
🥦: ‼️‼️‼️Oh, you did. *through gritted teeth* 😠💢🗯️
