Even though Webb is coming off of a couple of bad starts, he is a great pitcher and will be hard to hit. Ray too. Mets offense NEEDS to DO SOMETHING.

Can’t be overstated how much his death changed the whole trajectory of the franchise. He probably would’ve moved to the front office, and there’s a zero percent chance they then would’ve traded Seaver, which in turn would’ve prevented the #Mets 1977-1983 Dark Ages.

For an 18 year old, very nice bat speed and hard contact. Maybe not a shortstop in the long term, but the #Mets might really have something here.

Takeaways from #Mets @ Cardinals

1. Mets would have won the game if Lindor didn't get picked off.

2. Holmes/Senga/Peralta looks fantastic. Bullpen too.

3. How soon can the offense get back on track. It looks TERRIBLE.
