Gods, this hits hard. I know I've said it like a zillion times now, but ShB hits so hard and it's just so well-written. I'm so happy I decided to replay this expac, it's really rekindling my love for this game.

WAIT. Emet-Selch is the one who plucks Y'shtola from the Aetherial Sea after casting Flow in Rak'tika... because of course he would. His station deals with the aetherial sea, and he's GOD DAMNED HADES. Of COURSE he can pull things from THE UNDERWORLD.

this made me laugh, ngl. Can you imagine braving a horde of sin eaters, knowing you'll probably perish, only to be saved by this otherworldly person... and then THE NEXT DAY, they just SHOW UP and bring you A SANDWICH. For no reason!!
