An astonishing story of an innocent man who served 35 years in prison for murder In 2018 the writer Gilbert King was in Florida attending a conference of trial judges. King has written widely about injustices, about people who have been sent to prison in states like Florida when they were actually innocent. King was approached by a judge who handed him his business card with a note on it.
