This past week 2 staff & 1 grad student presented at the annual #MidwestFW in St. Louis as part of a symposium titled "Sharing Knowledge Across Sub-basins: Invasive Carp in the Missouri River Basin and Beyond."
Another great #midwestFW! Lab highlights include talks by Aaron (#AIS) and Josh (market segment analysis of license sales), poster by Mackensie (app data to supplement creel surveys), and Fenske nominations to Aaron and Mackensie. Way to go, team! 👏

More often than not, the #fishpuke we collect is a jumbled mess of flesh and bones, but some bones make it really easy to ID which species was eaten. Now working on methods to use these bones to estimate prey size, which I’ll present on at #MidwestFW in Feb! #fishsci #SciComm
