Old adverts from the 1970s this shows the Milk Tray Man who had the disconcerting ability to turn up in women's bedrooms whilst they slept - leaving a box of Milk Tray Chocolates as the passive aggressive message he'd been. Purple Blue box and the Shadowy Man figure standing arms crossed in the left hand corner. How times have changed for the better. Schoolboys loved this stuff (in period) and mums enjoyed the chocks!
The late Patrick McGoohan stikes his very familiar pose as both "Danger Man" his founding role in the genre and the later "The Prisoner" No 6 of the Village (probable source of this image). In the image he stands in an open double doorway arms stretched to either side he is leaning slightly into the room and he is frustrated/angry - lit from the borrowed light behind him. It's a classic "Look here, what is this all about" stance that he made his own in early TV drama at which he always excelled.
During my litter pick last night/this morning milk boys van cruised past with one lad stood in the lit open doorway adopting a distinct pose of the #MilkTrayMan all in black or perhaps the late #PatrickMcGoohan as #DangerMan
He of course, would be oblivious to either analogy today! #MeAsOldster ๐
