I took this picture in my wildflower garden this week. It shows a milkweed pod, dried out, and bursting open with silk and seeds ready to be taken by the wind. The background is blurred and dried out goldenrod with areas of yellow, green, and brown. Just to the right of the white silk fibers is a skinny, vertical stem, light brown, and dried out as well.
