Seeing the unseen 👁️ A brief #MindWise article by #pupillometry expert Ana Vilotijević about her recent study in which she showed that covertly attending to bright or dark stimuli affects pupil size, even when these stimuli have faded from awareness. mindwise-groningen.nl/seeing-the-u... #psychology
Childrens mental health week 3rd - 9th Febrary 2025. Know Yourself, Grow Yourself.
CAMHS Waiting List 2,251 children and young people were waiting for a CAMHS assessment as of June 2023. Of these, 1,205 had been waiting for more than nine weeks. The Northern Trust has the highest number of young people waiting for a CAMHS assessment, with 888 waiting as of June 2023. This disparity is stark in comparison to the Western HSC Trust, which had the lowest number waiting at 333.
The Case for early intervention. In Northern Ireland, less than 8% of the overall budget for mental health provision is allocated to children and young people’s mental health services, resulting in limited access to essential mental health support for our children and young people. We at MindWise know the value of early intervention, with evaulations demonstrating that primary school counselling services across the UK generate up to £36 million in long-term benefits each year at a cost of £4.5 million.

I took these photos years ago, as I was designing and planning how to launch my business. I made my lean canvas models (1-pg) and my full biz plan (100+ pages). Walking the path, seeing that flower/weed, it felt like so many metaphors. I took the photo of the dandelion. Walked around it. #MindWise
