Syria is one of the most contaminated countries with unexploded ordnance and mines in the world. Children are most vulnerable to these risks, with one in three of those injured by remnants of war being children.
After 14 years of conflict, #Syria continues to be contaminated with landmines & explosive remnants of war (ERWs).
They cause indiscriminate harm, shattering lives & livelihoods long after conflict ends. Globally, 84% of people wounded by ERWs are civilians.
