Caterpillar bids for Australia’s RPMGlobal- AFR
Investing.com-- Caterpillar Inc (NYSE:CAT) has made an offer to acquire Australian mining software developer RPMGlobal Holdings Ltd (ASX:RUL), the Australian Financial Review reported on Friday.
RPMGlobal halted trading of its shares on Friday, citing an “indicative proposal from a third party regarding a potential acquisition.”
The AFR report did not specify a deal value. RPM had a market capitalization of A$832 million ($544 million) as of Thursday.
RPM’s shares rallied 17% earlier this week after the firm clocked strong annual earnings and presented an upbeat outlook for 2026.
