Sound from an unmodified #ZX81/ #ZX80? Surely not. However, Toni Baker showed how to get quite impressive sound from the tiny micros, provided you were happy with a flickering screen. Also works on #Minstrel2 / #Minstrel3, though you need to access signal on mic socket. github.com/markgbeckett...

Not managed to get hi-res graphics running. I think I need a different memory config. However, Norman Brooks' original type-in is very good. A really engaging game with lots of depth (no pun intended). Runs well on #Minstrel3. #retrogamimg

Have been delving into Husband #Forth, a replacement ROM for #ZX81. It would not run out of box on @tynemouthsoftware.co.uk #Minstrel3, so I have set out to find out why. A work in progress, but I now have both H Forth (and its TS100 predecessor, Tree Forth) running on the Mistrel3! #retrogaming
