This is a very long painting, in a slim wooden frame. The predominant background color is a rich blue. Across the front a number of wavy and circular lines delineate regions that are filled with primary colors (yellow and red) or black. There is a characteristic "star" shape of four intersecting straight lines in the upper half, about a quarter of the distance from the right side. Some of the shapes look to me like fanciful sea creatures.

This is a very #Horizontal painting by Joan Miró, called "Pintura (Per a David Fernández Miró)", 40 x 240 cm, from 1965.

I took this photo in the Fundació Joan Miró, Barcelona, Spain, on 5 November 2024.
