Saw my first Hoope the other day.
Out for a cycle and decided on a last minute diversion here (📷 Panorama). Just as I spotted, it spotted me and took off.

A green field leads to trees fading in the band of fog at the boundary, the peak of Mt Gabriel just visible in the pastel sky of the morning. At once, calm and mysterious.

The fog was rolling in, around, up & down all morning. A bit like myself.

Squalls out at sea. Light breaking through the clouds. The tiny fastnet light house for scale.

Look back east to a squall covering Mt Gabriel. Ended up in a cafe after sitting next Gabriel Byrne eating our soup. One walk, two Gabriels!

Not a lot going on, on this wee hike. Up the hill, coffee & chats about her long distance hikes w/ lady we met, then down the other side.

Squalls came and went either aide of us.

Fun to watch over by Mt Gabriel & out by the Fastnet Lighthouse.
