I’m a LOTR fan, but not enough that I know *all* the character names by heart. I know Galadriel and Elrond from this, I recognize other names but I’m not 100% certain who is who.

Just seems like there’s whole 1 hour long episodes where the plot barely advances til the end.

Reddit tells me that there's a rumor that the Inspector Gadget cartoon was supposed to originally be Lupin VIII. That's definitely the vibes I was getting throughout this movie.
