I’ve written a standalone MG monster story with darker life themes in between drafts of the Fyn Carter books. I’m aiming to edit/finish that while I do a plan for the remaining Fyn books. It’s different in tone but still includes family, friendship, and adventure #monsterproject #ukteenchat #kidlit
Here's the little making of video I made for Mariah. As I mentioned before my sketches are ROUGH but I don't really mind as it's just part of the process to get stuff out of my brain as fast as I can and see which ideas work best.

These little cuties are Mariah's monsters! When I saw her original drawing I felt this gang of friends were clearly out on an adventure. I sketched out a whole bunch of scenarios before settling on them running through a meadow, picking flowers...

This was 2016, we had a brand new baby & a 3 year old so I was extremely sleep deprived! As a result, working on this is a complete blur. For example, I remember exporting this timelapse but I do NOT remember making the song, at all!?
