A stunning telephoto image captures the rare double occultation of Venus and Jupiter by the crescent Moon on April 23rd, as seen from Ascension Island.  Venus emerges from behind the brightly lit crescent, while Jupiter appears above the dark lunar limb, with its moons Ganymede and Io visible nearby.  The faint earthshine illuminates the rest of the Moon's surface.
