#moonmist is taking so long bc i gotta decide how gay i want the monkeys to be ALSO i had to figure out the name of a kink... and there isn't one that's specific enough, but i found some that are as close as it's gonna get LMAO

Macaque and Wukong sitting in the bathtub together discussing a trip. They decide to take one together since Macaque's curse is gone. He has things to take care of, and he implies that them going together is the only option. Wukong enthusiastically agrees to go on this trip and imagines it being like back-to-back dates. It may or may not be like that, who knows.

here's another sneak peak. these monkeys are so gay and inseparable, they've decided to go on a trip. just by themselves. like a honeymoon??? nooo, surely not. that is not at all what's happening, nope.

the difficult thing about #moonmist is that now that the gay monkeys are in the bath, it's hard to get them out

I'll be splitting the last chapter of #MoonMist into two parts because, again, it's too long. And luckily I had the foresight to add another chapter number to the fic in preparation for this eventuality, so kudos to me

A passage from "Moon Mist" in which Wukong is in the bath tub waiting for Macaque to join him and throwing a fit about it. Macaque teases him and says that he just wants to add something to the bath water to make it more relaxing.

That statement by Gladys was my main focus, but I was a mostly directionless as I lacked evidence of why someone was haunting.

Outstanding! I’m still playing with that “Lost Treasures” version on my ye olde iPad, though its 🔋 prowess is sadly lacking these days 😆

I like having all the boxed browsies within the app - the letters helped in #Moonmist for example, which I didn’t see in my older boxed edition.

🕵️‍♂️ Finding that I discover something in #Moonmist each go, but mostly by experimenting/wandering around.

So far I’ve met everybody, worn the proper outfit to dinner, discovered secret passages, ID-ed the ghost, discovered treasure.

You are left in the dark... >pull lever The secret door creaks open, revealing your bedroom! >n You hear a door creak open... or was it the wind? (You are now in Iris's entrance.) Light comes from a ghost costume. A secret door and a lever are on the west wall. The secret passage leads north and south into darkness. The light reveals a blowgun and the ghost costume here. ›take all blowgun: You are now holding the blowgun. ghost costume: You are now holding the ghost costume. >wear ghost (You aren't holding that!) ›weara ghost costum [I don't know the word "weara."] >wear ghost costum You start to put the ghost costume on, but then decide it might scare the other guests.

🕵️‍♂️ Initially Tamara leads us on a tour of Tresyllian Castle in #Moonmist, but I soon get to explore and map the rooms ✏️

Found secret passages/tombs/crypts; an out of order clue (1, 2, 4); even the treasure itself rather unexpectedly 😳

The Hint Book and Manual from “The Lost Treasures of Infocom” laid out on an outdoor picnic bench. The manual is open at the Moonmist section, and a folded map has been opened to show the text on some back pages.

A peek inside the Moonmist map shows some locations.

A peek inside the Hint Book for Moonmist shows a section “The Beginning” and a first question: “How do I get through the gate?”. The printed map, folded up, hides the rest of the page in case spoilers.

A peek at the InvisiClues web-site reveals the same section and question as the Hint Book.

🕵️‍♂️ Pulled out the #Moonmist bits from “The Lost Treasures of Infocom” as I begin to familiarise myself with the game.

Lots of browsies in the Manual, hints in the separate Hint Book (which seem to be the InvisiClues), and a full map 😯
