A very modest Christmas fir tree, lit up beautifully by the bright sunshine, but also some little crackly light spheres. In the background through the stern canopy, colourful canal boats are resplendent in the sun, and (bonus) underneath the wooden pontoon the silhouette of a Moorhen maybe glimpsed, along with some ducks sheltering from the bitter breeze.
