#Mopsus mormon are also amazing #predators to watch. Almost cat like in their skill at stalking and making the kill. The result being its not unusual to see them with large prey items, as the videos of these 2 very capable ladies shows!
#Mopsus mormon, are the only species in the genus Mopsus. They are quite a common #spider here, get quite large for a jumper and are very tolerant of photographers. They are also nice and colourful. And so they are the local "yellow scruffys mushroom" of the spider world.
After days of rain, the sun is out and the jumping spiders are basking and loving it. #Mopsus mormon may be a common #spider, but I will never get over the joy of seeing one beside me in the garden. Just the best little dudes there is.
I cannot get over how much I enjoy watching #Mopsus mormon in the wild. They have everything you could want in a #spider. Incredible hunters, the ability to gaze into your soul and just the most funky fashion sense. These 2 ladies I encountered yesterday put a glow on the whole day :)
