Light and tightly focused, with not just examples of play, but also several premade adventures to run straight out of the book. And because this is @handiworkgames.bsky.social, the art and production values are extremely high. A very strong contender for a game at #MorpCon sometime this year.
So you can probably guess from the multipost I'm quite excited about bringing this back to development, if only as a fun thing over the weekend, which may make an appearance at #MorpCon or an online convention soonish.
Awesome afternoon out at #MorpCon yesterday in Manchester. Ran 13th Age 2nd ed, and it's smoother and more fun than ever. A game in my Mythic Cotsworlds setting, featuring a Knight's Tournament, Intelligent Monkeys, Tea parties, and a sorcerer missing on the Nightmare plane. Great silly stuff 😍
I've a full weekend of gaming ahead. Tomorrow I'm running my Mothership scenario 'The Changeling' for our quarterly FtF session with my regular group, followed by playing in Brindlewood Bay. On Sunday I'll be running the Changeling again (has to be better 2nd time round right?) at #MORPcon
Running some more Mothership at the next #MORPcon. It's rapidly become my favourite TTRPGs for convention one shots. Constrained locations, creeping sense of existential dread, recognisable tech & simple rules. Its just perfect.
I think my festive period is over. Christmas, New Year and finally Gamemas (celebrated at #Grogmeet on Saturday and #Morpcon on Sunday). A calm walk with the dog, in post-storm conditions (wet and clear) and then back to work! 😍
Ending a weekend of gaming was #MorpCon yesterday, where I ran my D20-lite Looter Shooter, #StarPlunderInc, for the first time. Three players and I had a Maximum Gaming Fun Time, exploring the abandoned town of Tutorial, and its adjacent Rustfields. Big thanks to Bex, Martin and Graham :)

I had a sort of dream (you know when you wake up and your mind goes somewhere linked to a dream - maybe).
That I was running #SHEFCon - which was a sister con to #MORPCon alternating the months, as travelling across the Pennines is a pain at times.
Just over ten days before #Grogmeet on the Saturday and #MorpCon on Sunday. Fortunatly I've got rules/scenarios/pre-made characters done for both Beneath the Ziggurat of Gloom (for Grim and Dangerous #OldhammerRPG) and Tutorial (Starplunder INC), for which there are still player spaces on Sunday.
Wheeeeeeeeeeee I'm off to Manchester to run Edge of Empire at #MorpCon this afternoon. Star Wars meets Van Halen. Rookie with the system, but I think I've got the hang of interpreting the funny symbols on the dice. It will be good to catch up with folk. It's been too long. 😍#winning
Hurrah, the storm is (more or less) over! No unexpected leaks have sprung! Rejoice! Now to learn what the squiglly symbols on the Star Wars RPG dice mean, for my #MorpCon game tomorrow. 🤣
Wheeeeeeeeeee! Two conventions to look forward. Virtual Grogmeet next weekend, were I'll be re-visiting BOSR Shrine Kollchap from Puffin's What is Dungeons and Dragons, and playing Gran Mechanismo. Then face to face gaming (!) at #Morpcon weekend after that. OUT OF THE HOUSE FOR NEWTS! 😍

At #MORPCon yesterday I ran ‘Affair of the Hidden Jewel’ for WFRP 4e. A classic little adventure from WD101 back in 1988 (and now in the Enemy in Shadows Companion). Our brave heroes took on conflicting jobs. Needless to say they screwed over both parties and made off with the treasure.
Back from today's #MORPcon in Manchester. I saw some of the same folks in person, that I saw back in January at Grogmeet.
Enjoyed an 'odd' game of WHFRP, not what I was expecting, but then again that's why WHFRP is a solid RPG.

Despite having run hundreds of hours of WFRP, I’m only playing in my second game ever. Today I am mostly playing Snorri the Dwarven Agitator. We’re on a ship for 6 months, so naturally I used most of my funds to buy some Bugmans 6X #MORPCon
