An auction catalog with a beige background and brown lettering, entitled 'The Charles Laughton-Elsa Lanchester Collection of Paintings and Drawings by MORRIS GRAVES. It was held at Parke-Bernet Galleries Inc in New York on Thursday October 20, 1966. There is also a small reproduction of a line drawing of shorebird, sometimes seen in paintings by this artist.
I enjoy auction catalogs and I've sold hundreds over the years. Acquiring this one from October 1966 was a "who knew?" moment. Shipping it to a new home today.
