Sixth movie of the year: Appropriately, #SIXTheMusicalLive, a musical that I have loved for years now, jumped at the chance to see it live last year, and the recording holds. Forever an Anne of Cleves stan, but Katherine Howard’s song always gets me. #MovieList2025
Fifth movie of the year: #Flow, an absolute delight, you can tell how much the people who made this movie love animals. Visually stunning, emotional, heartwarming, and completely deserving of its Oscar for Best Animated Film. #MovieList2025
Fourth movie of the year: #Mickey17, very enjoyable, featuring a lot of social commentary, a brilliant performance from Robert Pattinson, and the most unsettling set of veneers I’ve seen on screen for Mark Ruffalo #MovieList2025
Third movie of the year was #CaptainAmericaBraveNewWorld and it definitely had its issues, but overall solidly average entry to the MCU #MovieList2025
Second movie of the year was #ARealPain, a really interesting movie about pain and grief and generational trauma and how we all process those things differently, even within the same family. Kieran Culkin absolutely deserves that Oscar’s acting nom! #MovieList2025
First movie of 2025 was #Conclave and it set a very high bar, what a spectacular movie. Thoroughly enjoyed every second of it, and loved the ending. #MovieList2025
