This is an extremely rare, Multivox Premier Bantam Deluxe, hollow body, with gold hardware and blond (natural (front) and gold (back)) finish, electric guitar, circa 1959. The guitar is 100% original. It's a very early model with the white potted (I think they're ceramic) pickups (later ones were metal.) The pickups are super strong: the bridge is brighter and twangy but not too thin sounding and the neck is very full and rich. It has a white sparkle pick guard and knob covers. The knobs are metal and seem like aluminum (possibly nickel.) It's serial number is 14xx. It's fully bound. The binding is very worn. It has mother of pearl circular inlays for fret markers. The action is medium-fast. The neck is straight and all the electronics work properly. The body finish is a whole other thing. There's crazing in the finish and various nicks. The neck shows years of playing wear; someone really played baby. The dimensions of this guitar are 13 inches at the widest point on the body and 38.5 inches in total length. The fretboard is 17.5" long and 24.5" from the base of the neck to the top of the headstock. The body is 2.75" deep. It includes a chipboard case. Description from VintageSilvertones.com

Multivox Premier Solid Body model E730 "Custom" (as it was called in the later 1960s) two pickup, electric guitar with a scroll on the upper bout. Made in New York, NY circa 1961. The finish is a painted black front with the natural mahogany on the back and sides. Serial number 36xx. All gold plated hardware. Three dimensional Premier logo on headstock. Electronics rebuilt in 2008. Original hard shell case with "Nick Fabian's" name painted on.Description from VintageSilvertones.com Multivox guitars were produced by Peter Sorkin Music Company. They were a New York City based business who produced amplifiers, guitars, and basses from 1938-1975 and again in the 1990s. The Solid Body "Custom" line was introduced in 1959 and ran through the early 1970s. Based on the serial number the guitar appears to be made between 1960 and 1963. There is a number on the removed pots but it's difficult to make out. My best guess is they are Clarostat pots (Made In USA) from 1957. Description from VintageSilvertones.com

The guitar is 100% original. The Art-Deco and silver sparkle details really make it. All the hardware is 24 Karat gold plated including the jack! The guitar must have been stored for years because there's only minimal playing wear. The full package includes the original hard shell case (OHSC), white strap, and kapo. This is a Multivox Premier guitar made circa 1966. It features a brown, burl walnut finish of laminated plastic that is described, in a 1966 Multivox Premier advertisement, as being practically impervious to wear. This guitar also has edges bound with ivoroid and a body carved and designed for perfect balance and comfort. This is a solid body, double cutaway, double pickup guitar with a floating metal vibrato tailpiece and a metal bridge with individual adjustments, a white plastic pickgaurd and of course, the stylish, violin-like scroll carved at the upper bass bout. This guitar is very similar to the E781 model except it has a beautiful pearloid surface on the headstock, there is no string tree, and the inlays on the fingerboard are different, making it rare. Multivox guitars were produced by Peter Sorkin Music Company. Although they were a New York City based business who produced amplifiers, guitars, and basses from 1938-1975 and again in the 1990s, this particular guitar states on its decorative truss rod plate that it was made in Holland. This guitar looks great, especially for an approximately fifty year old instrument. It has a fanstastic feel and superb sound. Get this instrument while you can.
