It hinders the County staff from doing their work and scares people seeking services. We are a Sanctuary State, and the County can not risk eroding the trust we have built with those who seek county resources or assistance."

Clarify applicability of sanctuary code protections to County offices, employees and contractors. 
Consistent signage and process for restricted access areas.
Annual training on Sanctuary rights, staff expectations and resources for employees and community members.
Data collection and privacy protections.
Prohibit the County from entering into contracts with the federal government to operate or sell properties to be used as immigration detention centers.
