Visited the incredible Islamic #Alcazar in #Seville today. The #architecture is really incredible. Also… I ❤️ #muqarnas so much! And the water-filled cistern underneath was wonderful.

POV: you look up and realize geometry has gone feral (and divine).

One of many things I find fascinating about Islamic architecture are muqarnas. They remind us of honeycomb structures and seem to drip down like stalactites. I've marvelled at them in Granada and built my own in Belgium.
