Adamo wounds his wife and then commits suicide. in 1958, New York waterfront racketeer John M. Earle is shot three times at a Manhattan cafeteria. in 1967, Gerald Covelli, former Chicago crime figure, is killed in a car explosion near his Encino CA home. in 1985, 'Little Joe' Regino, former gambling racketeer in the Pittsburgh area, passes away.
