My back porch music setup: two folding wooden chairs, one for sitting on and one serving as a table for my Bluetooth speaker, a water bottle with iced tea, and the case for my Fender Mustang headphone practice amp. In front of the"table" chair is my Squier Stratacaster on its stand and a music stand with a tablet showing a PDF of the rhythm guitar tabs for my song "Somewhere Someone Cares." Lying on the porch between my chairs and the camera is a brown tabby with white markings, enjoying the nice day with his two-legged mum.

I was getting up to get another beverage during the Dodgers game, when all of a sudden I felt something catch on my foot and I almost face planted. Luckily I was able to stumble and it the bathroom door, and I immediately knew what my foot got caught on. 2/ #MusiciansLife

Getting that rhythm straight was a bugger. I ended up taping my foot while I counted out the rhythm, tapping my handon my guitar to help establish what the rhythm was. Once I finally had it, I made a voice recording of the rhythm and wrote that down on paper to help me remember... #MusiciansLife

I still have another guitar solo and an organ solo to figure out, but just being able to hear this much (although without the distortion effect), is HUGE. Just getting to this point has taken 25+ years. 2/2 #MusiciansLife
