This lovely gold filled two-tone brooch from Harry Iskin (mark, H & I overlaid) can also be worn as a pendant. Rose and yellow gold filled 120/12K is a charming floral design with rich, green stones is from the mid 40s, probably right around the end of WWII. Some details about Mr Iskin. Harry Iskin was born in London in 1888 to Russian parents. He came to the US in 1908 and his occupation was listed as jewelry maker as early as 1911. He married a woman from Pennsylvania and they had 2 daughters. He founded his company officially in 1939. Unfortunately by 1953 and having survived the WWII years things weren’t looking good and the bankruptcy was filed. He died in 1968 at age 82.
