Crack in the ceiling that is about 10 or more foot long. Photos do not do justice. We need out badly, we risk our safety staying any longer. The new landlord refuses to work on anything that isn't newly renovated, in our new lease they forced us to sign or else we risked eviction (said we couldn't have our apartment "fixed or have repairs made".) We are the 2nd to last tenants left from the old landlords lease. We have been mistreated and they tried to illegally evict us by renovating nearby units without notice. The old landlord never came around to fix windows so we are majorly worried we will be blamed for any damages in the unit when the previous landlord did not keep up with any maintenance requests. We were ghosted for 2 weeks multiple times. This was our very first apartment together and it's been a nightmare since the second to third year. Our apartment has been hit repeatedly by drunk drivers. I cannot sleep without having ptsd attacks. Since the new landlord took over we had gotten a new upstairs neighbor who is an alcoholic and has been harassing my boyfriend and I through various means. We cannot talk at all in our unit or else he stomps above us drunk. This drunk guy brought cockroaches and the landlord did not care and said well that's what happens when you have neighbors. The drunk guy on his first night here also forcibly hugged me and attempted to go into our apartment the next morning he tried to bust down our door thinking I was home alone. They are allowing anyone to move in and this guy had worked with the old landlord on this exact building. I do not feel safe here. I am scared and I could seriously use the help. Major problematic crack in our ceiling. It's coming down about an inch or less and as long as the door frame.
Ceilings cracking and so are our windows. The photos do not do it justice.. the guy who used to live upstairs was afraid to walk in his bedroom and he lived there for 10+years.. My boyfriend's hours will be cut shortly 7️⃣0️⃣0️⃣goal
