#MyEngland leaned out of windows, stood in the garden or on the front doorstep and banged pans every Thursday during the COVID Lockdown to show our thanks for the NHS and all the Frontline services.
#MyEngland helps a stranger who needs help. We say "he/she would give you the clothes of his/her back". We celebrate helping others, whoever they are.
#MyEngland remembers. Remembers those lost in conflict. It doesn't forget the conflicts our services fought in and doesn't forget those still living with changed lives.
#MyEngland stands up for those being bullied. We have a phrase, everyone knows it, "no one likes a bully".
#MyEngland is about fair play. Doing the right thing. Helping out. Need a hand with that mate? Costs nothing.
#MyEngland is about hope. The weather will get better. Those roadworks will get done. The delivery will be on time. The men's team might win the World Cup.
#MyEngland is about being polite. A wave when someone lets you cross the road or out at a junction. Costs nothing.
#MyEngland is talking rubbish with friends at the pub. Lots of laughter. Perfect way to get to know your neighbours is in the local.
#MyEngland is about Indian food. Nothing touches a proper curry in the local "Indian".

Went to #Birmingham yesterday for Xmas shopping and to see the market.
Came across this guy at night.
Made me smile.
This is #myEngland. This is who I believe we are.
Great city, great people.
