Basilisk. Large venomous snake monster. Its coiled ready to strike while rattling its tail
Basilisk from the other side
Teumessian Fox. Snarling. I wanted to give it a white tip to its tail, but because its so splayed out I couldn't figure out how to do it cohesively
Teumessian Fox, from the other angle
Some more Mythic Battles Pantheon miniatures. Basilisk and the Teumessian Fox.

Chimera. Right head is a goat, left head is a lion with a blindfold (for some reason), tail is a snake

Chimera from Mythic Battles Pantheon. Going try and get a bit of my Mythic Battles stuff painted.

Mini figure around 75mm tall of an aquatic monster, the lower half is made up of tentacles, which he’s walking on across a sandy beach. The upper body is humanoid but clearly amphibious, holding a trident
View of mini figure behind and elevated to show more of the sandy base with waves on the edge to represent the shore
But of all the minis I’ve painted so far (around 180 I think) from #MythicBattlesPantheon, #Poseidon is one of my favourites. It really expands the interpretation, and reflects the monstrousness of the god himself. And the sculpt is amazing.

Collection of 12 painted minis of the Greek gods: Zeus, Hera, Demeter, Poseidon, Aphrodite, Athena, Hephaestus, Dionysus, Hermes, Ares, Artemis and Apollo
This felt like an achievement - I’ve now painted the 12 Olympian gods (no Hestia as yet) from the #tabletopgame #MythicBattlesPantheon, with varying degrees of success…

13 centimetre tall figure of a woman emerging from the centre of a tree with a staff and sickle in robes, a veil atop her head and jewellery over her body
Just finished painting #Demeter, and really impressed with this mini.
Particularly as almost all the female characters in the rest of the #MythicBattlesPantheon are essentially very sexualised, while the male figures aren’t (not very Ancient Greek!).

Colourful rows of painted minis including gods, heroes, titans, monsters and scenery columns.
Another painted collection complete! #MythicBattlesPantheon: Pandora’s Box - 84 minis including a random Norse guy
A box of painted minis of different sizes based on great mythology featuring gods, heroes, armies and monsters
A collection of four monstrous titans: Gaia, Enceladus, Typhon and Cronus
For those following my #miniaturepainting, I’ve achieved something of a personal challenge goal. I’ve managed, in almost two months, to complete two boxes of #mythicbattlespantheon - the base game and Rise of the Titans.
Painting armies though… eesh.

Miniature figure of the Hydra from Greek myth - a reptilian monster with five heads
The hydra with a 28mm scale Heracles for, well, scale
Latest miniature painted. Well a big miniature. The Lernian #hydra from #mythicbattlespantheon, with #Heracles. It’s ok, you got this, babes.

Small figure of the Minotaur, around 35mm tall, holding a skull tightly in his fist, carrying a rudimentary weapon in his other hand. He is uplit in warm tones from a flaming torch on the ground beside him
The #Minotaur - not sculpted by me (I wish) from the #MythicBattlesPantheon game

Painted figure of Ares the god of war in helmet and cape blowing in the wind. He is in full battle stance with shield in front of him and sword raised behind him
Side view of figure
Hear me out: I think #Ares is the least problematic of the pantheon of #Greekgods.
Yes, he’s the god of the violent brutality of war, but that’s his role. He never assaults anyone (aside from battle-related violence), and is kind of a hapless guy.

Miniature model of a three headed dog, with all three heads looking a bit vicious, with glowing red eyes
He’s the good, gooder, goodest boy.
#Cerberus from #MythicBattlesPantheon #tabletopgame
#minipainting #greekmythology #paintingminifigures
Model of a woman in a revealing pink dress with gold accessories holding two sword on a base of grass and flowers
This might be my new favourite paint job of a #gamingmini I’ve done.
The goddess #Aphrodite from #MythicBattlesPantheon - around 70mm tall.
#figurepainting #tabletopgaming #greekmythology
Small scale miniature figure of a rider in Ancient Greek armour holding a spear riding a white winged horse that’s tearing up on its hind legs
Rear view of miniature
This got really fiddly to paint.
Bellerophon and Pegasus from the game #MythicBattlesPantheon
Maybe I’ll actually play the game one day, but I’ve always just enjoyed the figures.
#greekmythology #gamingminis #miniaturepainting #tabletopgames
28 mm figure of a smiling woman in a purple dress holding a knife in her right hand and some magical, smokey business going on in left.
Loving this mini of #Medea - she’s just a happy-go-lucky gal enjoying her blood magick.

Painted gaming miniature of a grim reaper type figure with a skull-faced figure holding a scythe in a billowing cape with a flaming beard mid section and at his feet.
Reverse if same figure showing the cape blending into plumes of smoke
Ngl, quite chuffed with how the ‘mini’ from #MythicBattlesPantheon of the titan Cronus turned out.

Mini figures of the titan Atlas, a four-armed, muscular giant with wrists chained together on either side of his body. And he is very annoyed.
Close up detail of the figure’s dark-bearded, long-haired head from the side. And still so angry!
Atlas from the game #MythicBattlesPantheon approx 4” tall.
Just upgraded my brushes and the results have been amazing. I’m still not super-skilled, but changing a couple of tools helps.
Art supplies can get pricey, but the investment in even one or two quality things can really improve artwork.
