Finding something I've dropped is a challenge. Imagine closing one eye then looking through a loo roll tube with the other, which has greasy smudgy clingfilm over the end (it's worse than that) I have a tiny, powerful torch in my pocket that helps a lot, until I fumble it and drop it as well! #NAION

I'm blind on the left with 5% vision remaining on the right. It's a central-ish, blurry area that just includes my focus point most days. Some days it doesn't. You learn a trick called eccentric fixation. This is learning to look at something you are not, in fact, looking at. Hello headaches! #NAION

What's left of my totally wrecked retina (Retinal Ganglian Cells to be exact) doesn't react to light correctly. There's a weird upside. Certain shades of purple and orange fluoresce to me, especially flowers, and leave light trails when I move my head. It's kinda beautiful. #NAION
