At #NGA2025 I heard a panel of ind schools talking about doing only Eng and Maths GCSE, with the rest of the curriculum made up of their own bespoke courses. I felt so sad to think what would happen to a state school that did that. That freedom and joy in learning feels so far from my daily life.
We end the day at Next Generation Assessment #NGA2025 with a discussion on our hopes and our future with @Jo-Anne Baird and @billlucas.bsky.social chaired by Rachel Macfarlane. What a day!
