National Human Rights Institutions #NHRI perform crucial work to strengthen #HumanRights globally. We are grateful to the broad support of UN Member States in adopting this year's #NHRI resolution, which introduces a new thematic focus on the rights of persons with disabilities.
Montenegro, Mauritius, Ireland, Lesotho, Nigeria and Namibia have recommended that #Jamaica create a National Human Rights Institution, in line with the Paris Principles.
