Direct texting between a 40YO NZ man asking a 13YO girl for naked photos should be taken more seriously than access to social media, shouldn't it?

Woman who gave cop 'thumbs down' pepper-sprayed, has top ripped, underwear exposed The IPCA has found the officer's actions were unlawful and disproportionate.

Another case where IPCA find #NZpolice acted unlawfully, and it appears with malice, both in assaulting woman and in charging her with a crime to bully her into silence.

I hope a lawyer volunteers to take civil case against criminal cop!

New polling shows a quarter of New Zealanders have little or no trust in police However, a new poll also shows most people's positions were not rattled by the recent Jevon McSkimming scandals.

Whether people trust #NZpolice depends on their experiences. I've been assaulted by cops during peaceful protests. Other cops helped me when we were burgled. A mixed bag.

How a St Bede's College priest was revealed as sexually abusing boys Suppression has been lifted, allowing a former St Bede's College friar - who admitted indecent assault and sexual violation relating to four boys - to be named.

More than 20 years after leaving St Bede's College, Fr Rowan Donoghue was unmasked as sexually abusing boys in his care. Fr Donoghue has pleaded guilty to six charges including indecent assaults on boys aged 12-16.

'Ill-advised': Documentary crew told about Tom Phillips shootout by police before family Police have apologised to the family in person, saying the situation was "very regrettable".

Disgusting attitude shown by #NZpolice in treatment of mother of kidnapped Phillips' children.

Cops - texted film crew ~6.15am,
- notice on website ~7.15am on serious incident in W Waikato,
- told Phillips' family ~7.30am, +
- children's mother told after 8am!

Sensitive info possibly made public as 1000 police cases affected by tech problem A technical issue with police's investigation management tool may have resulted in sensitive information being made public.

More details emerge on #NZpolice data leak, #privacy fail.

1527 disclosure packages from 1037 cases have been affected. Police are working with justice sector to check for privacy breaches. To date 46 instances id'ed where private info shared.

Why can't #NZpolice give simple answer to any NZ person's questions?

I've phoned 105 asking for advice on how to complain about offensive flyers appearing in letterboxes in my community. I manage local group with 2000 members.

"Throw it away" isn't good enough advice. Nor is We don't know.

Police probed Government staffer's ‘unacceptable behaviour’ after Christmas party The staffer quit his Disability Support Services role after two women complained about his behaviour on the night of the December 11 party.

#NZpolice decide not to lay charges after talking with man accused of "unacceptable behavior" of a sexual nature. It sounds like cops didn't bother to talk with the two women who complained!

Him resigning doesn't erase his behavior. I hope he doesn't leave country!

AFAIK the complainant at the centre of the McSkimming affair - who was groomed and assaulted and her complaints ignored by #NZpolice - is still facing charges over her subsequent actions. No word on Angela Brazier taking any steps to seek justice for actual victim of McSkimming's acts!

NZTA orders data analysis to identify full scale of falsely recorded breath tests RNZ earlier revealed about 130 police staff were under investigation throughout the country after 30,000 alcohol breath tests were "falsely or erroneously recorded".

38YO man driving a fake police car pulled over the wrong car in south Auckland on Saturday night. Cops driving an unmarked police car arrested him. He'll appear in court on Christmas Eve.

Impersonating police is an offence.
