My 13th book of 2025, another for #NationalWomensHistoryMonth, relates the experiences of 5 women from different backgrounds who joined the OSS during WWII, then the CIA. In 1948, one of them, Jane Burrell, perished in a plane crash, becoming the 1st CIA officer to died in the line of service. 1/3
March of 1822, Harriet Tubman was born into slavery as Araminta Ross, became a "conductor" on the Underground Railroad, helped free enslaved people, served as a Union Army nurse and spy during the Civil War, and was nicknamed "Moses". #NationalWomensHistoryMonth #MovingForwardTogether
