Portulaca oleracea, probably. A very variable succulent, here as a tiny one in the crevices of granite paving. It can be quite large and is edible, even tasty.

Miniature flowers in the city. Every spring I love photographing these Oxalis corniculata, they have purple petals and beautiful contrasting flowers, only a few millimetres in size.

Macro photography of a butterfly. It has folded wings which are pressed together above the body. The wings have a velvety black colour on this side. On the wings you can see the structure of the scales. The legs are long and hairy. The eyes are dull, the long antennae are visible. Behind the head is a tuft of rusty hairs. It is a butterfly that has been through something.
