Photographed this male finch last Thursday, perched on one of the bird feeders. He gave me a sharp-eyed glance, as if wondering what I thought of him. I told him he was beautiful!

Sony a6400, Sony 70-350.mm, f/6.3, Shutter priority, 1/1250s, 350mm. There were a lot of cardinals at the feeders yesterday. Someone said a piliated woodpecker was there earlier, but it didn't make a reappearance while I was there. Processed in Topaz DeNoise first; shooting through glass, however clean, isn't the best when taking pics. That program did a great job of removing noise and grain while retaining detail. Check out the wing detail next to the tree.
