What's the longest a book's been on your #tbrpile before you got round to it?

This is Highland River, which I've had since about 1976.
It was published in 1942, using wartime economy measures

So 50 years and I've finally got round to reading it...

During lockdown I spent a lot of time sitting by the #riverinver
Took over my parents Newsagents, and started a Lochinver bookshop last year.
#neilgunn became very important to me, how the river meets the sea. Live by the tide, and pull of the #moon.
