A Christmas message from Neil Hannon. It reads: "Dear everybody, Season’s greetings to one and all. It won’t be a long ‘Neil’s Christmas Message’ this year. Partly because I’ve a lot of shopping, wrapping, decorating and spare room tidying to do. Partly because I’ve a glass of sherry in my hand and 'Elf' lined up on the TV. Mostly because I’m quite lazy. Suffice it to say, wow! What a wonderful year. Thank you so much to you all for buying the album and coming to the shows, and generally being the most super-nice fans a purveyor of slightly left-field music could have.
